How much does it cost to enter the Meffys?
Price per entry: £350
MEF Member price per entry: £150
Special Developer price:* £ 75
*For the purpose of the Meffys, a developer must meet all of the following criteria:
- a maximum of 3 members of staff
- in business for a maximum of one year
- no external investment
Developers can receive the discounted rate for all the Meffys ‘innovation’ categories:
- Innovative App
- Innovation in a Mobile First Market
- Technology Innovation
- Innovative Business Model
What is the eligibility period for entries?
The eligibility period runs from March 1 2010 to March 1 2011.
When is the entry deadline?
The deadline for entering is 6pm on Friday, May 6, 2011.
Who judges the awards?
The Meffys are judged by industry experts, including analysts, journalists, academics and VCs.
When does the judging take place?
The judging will take place at the end of May 2011. All entrants will be contacted as soon as possible after the judging session to update them on the status of their entries.
Is there a shortlist?
Yes. Five entries per category will be shortlisted and showcased at the Awards Ceremony.
How will I know if I’ve been nominated?
The organisers will contact all entrants as soon as possible after the judging sessions to let them know if they’ve been nominated.
When does the Meffys Awards Ceremony take place?
The 2011 Meffys Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner takes place on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at The Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
